Pineapple Marmalade and Pineapple Shell Water

Pineapple Marmalade

2 pineapple slices

1 Tsp bee honey

1 lemon (juice)

Ground Cinnamon


Peel pineapple slices and cut them into small dices.  Put in a pan at very low heat, add honey lemon juice and cinnamon.  Cover pan and let boil until it is completely dry.  You can add some water and let it boil until pineapple is as soft as you want.

This recipe combines the losing weight benefits of lemon, cinnamon, and pineapple. 



Pineapple Shell Water

Besides these last benefits we can also add the ones the shell has, so do not throw it away.  

Boil it in water for 10 minutes and drink it sugarless during the day.   This delicious cool water cleanses our kidneys and urinary tract and it can even defeat mild infections.  Drinking at least two litres a day would be needed to obtain the later.

In this case: for the shell of two pineapple slices use 2 litres of water.

You can also add a cinnamon stick increasing its weight-loss benefits.

Note:  This pineapple marmalade is a little sour with big pineapple pieces.  If you rather have more of a marmalade consistency, just use a manual blender and grind it until the desired consistency is obtained while your cooking it on the stove.
