Peppermint and Lemon Water
This cool, refreshing water helps your digestive system work better, it has antibacterial properties (functions as a natural antibiotic) which aid our immune system. Both peppermint and lemon peel have relaxing effects, therefore the combination of both of them is an antistress bomb!
Chlorophyll richness reveals itself in these delicious leaves by refreshing our breath.
The whole lemon adds vitamin C, antioxidants and fibre, and burns fat while boosting the fresh peppermint flavour, all at the same time.
- 2 litres of water
- A bunch of peppermint leaves previously washed
- 1 seedless lemon cut into 4 pieces or just remove all seeds in case you can’t find seedless lemons.
Combine peppermint leaves and 2 cups of water in the blender. Blend for 15 seconds at high speed. Add the lemon pieces and blend at high speed for another 10 seconds. Drain while adding remaining water.
Voila! Drink two litres of this delicious refreshing water a day and prepare yourselves to savour losing weight!
Depending on your preferences, peppermint can also be drunk hot as an infusion and lemon peel can be added as well to increase its relaxing burning fat effects. You just have to boil lemon peel for 10 minutes, add mint leaves, cover with a lid and let them simmer for a few more minutes.
Peppermint can also be substituted by any other kind of mint.
